STE srl was founded in Rome in 1996, immediately emerging as a determined, perfectly organized made-in-Italy company.
Founded by former partners at CIAB in Bologna, a leading company in systems engineering, STE srl has inherited the experience, knowledge and know-how developed with passion and deep commitment in over 30 years at the Bologna-based company.

The company was registered with Rome Chamber of Commerce — ordinary and authorized section for systems in compliance with Ministerial Decree 37/08 Art. 1, letters A, B, C, D, E, G — in 1998 and since 2008 has been an authorized Technical Assistance Testing Centre, a leading Italian company in control equipment for civil plants and machinery for heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and industrial processes.

UNI EN ISO 9001 and FGAS certifications

Dating back to 2003 and still valid with regular renewal, STE srl holds UNI EN ISO 9001 certification for our company's Quality Management System for routine and extraordinary maintenance services relating to air-conditioning and heating systems, electrical and fire protection, and system management.


Since 2013, we have operated in Rome with FGAS certification for installation, maintenance and repair services related to stationary refrigeration equipment and heat pumps containing certain fluorinated gases.
